End of Year Google Slides activity, Pattern Block Zoo. Eliminate the headache of planning fun digital activities for the last days of school with this easily differentiated math and science enrichment!
Students use the pattern blocks to build the animals for their zoo! Click, drag, and rotate to manipulate the shapes so that they fit into the animals. I have included an easier version with the guidelines for younger students, as well as a more challenging set of animals that feature just the outline stencil.
When I use this with my own class, I use these National Geographic for Kids "Amazing Animals" videos to introduce each new animal as students work on their zoo! The videos also help make it more fun! You can even create several lessons around this activity by choosing to show longer videos that teach your students about each animal!
