How It Works:

  1. Build the Patterns: Use the visual task cards as guides to recreate each Earth Day design using pattern blocks. Students will not place the pattern blocks directly on the task cards; these are intended to be used as visual references only.
  2. Complete the Graphing Worksheet:
  • Count and record how many of each pattern block was used.
  • Calculate the total for each block type.
  • Identify the pattern block used the most and circle it.
  • Write the name of the design you created.
