Sometimes having 30 problems all on one worksheet is just overwhelming! This pass around activity takes those 30 problems and formats them in such a way that students are only dealing with 1 problem at a time.
The student learning outcomes for this activity include:
1. Deciding the start number of a pattern by realizing it on a blank 100 chart.
2. Paying attention to the direction of the pattern (increasing or decreasing)
3. Using a RULE to determine the next 3 numbers in the pattern
4. Completing a student response sheet.
5. Noticing similarities among groups of patterns.
6. Having FUN with math!
