This was well put together. It was very helpful for my IB unit How the World Works. It introduced the patterns in nature really well to the students.
My students really enjoyed the discussions we had based off these slides.
Excellent resource!
This is a beautiful collection of photos organized by elements of pattern. It saved me lots of time gathering examples of the patterns in nature. This is fascinating to children (and to me!) and opens up discussion about the wonders of science all around us. We connected it to art and to the book Elmer with his patchwork and his friends with their beautiful pattern variations. Thank you!
great!
the powerpoint was great to introduce and discuss patterns in nature, and the cards were a great reinforcement and review
Simple pattern images to have discussion on patterns in nature.
Super!
