This packet begins with students using a free online simulator (https://astro.unl.edu/naap/lps/animations/lps.html) to observe and develop and understanding of Moon phases (names, orbital location, and rise/set times). No additional materials are needed.

Then they will complete a series of questions in a 4 page packet that will reinforce and extend their knowledge and understanding.
