Description
This is a 24 slide PowerPoint about pedigrees.
It takes students through a few refreshers about homologous chromosomes and alleles and then ventures into autosomal dominant, autosomal recessive, and X-linked pedigrees.
The notes provide guidelines to help determine if the trait is autosomal or X-linked; and dominant or recessive.
(Y-linked and mitochondrial are not included in the notes, but they would be an easy addition to add to the end of the notes).
Completely editable; student notes ARE included!
