Description
Students use Punnett Squares to predict the outcome of a genetic crossing between two parents. Students then use coins (or poker chips) to simulate the genetic cross between two parents and the resulting offspring (100 babies). Lastly, students track the whole class data (in a class of 20 kids you get 2,000 coin flips) and analyze the differences between small populations and large populations when it comes to statistical variation.
