Description
This set of 7th grade math binder notes provides students with structured notes and practice for finding the percent change, including percent increase and percent decrease. The guided notes start with the definition of percent change and then a blank ratio, for students to fill in how to calculate the percent change (percent change = amount of change/ original amount). Next, there are two guided examples- one for percent increase and one for percent decrease. This is followed by 10 additional practice problems, all in a real-world setting. Depending on your students, they would work great as additional guided practice or independent practice.
