Percent Review Interactive Notebook Mandala Coloring Activity
Share

Description

Students will answer 10 percent questions including percent of a number, tax, discount, markup, tip, percent increase/decrease/change, and simple interest. Students will select 7 colors and use the answers to color the picture. If you cut the page in half, it fits perfectly in an interactive notebook on facing pages. It's self checking but also personalized because students choose their own colors! All my favorite things - self checking, colorful, and wall-worthy!

My students loved this activity. We used as a review for all percent. I liked how it had examples that started off easy and then got to their level, making the students comfortable with activity.

My students really liked this way of practicing the concepts. As they get older they don't color nearly enough, it was a de-stressor for some. :)
