Description

Students will practice solving applications with percents word problems (including percent proportion, discount, mark-up, sales tax, percent increase, percent decrease, and simple interest) with this set of 16 task cards.

  • The task cards cover the following objectives:
  • Use the percent proportion to solve for missing values.
  • Solve a word problem using the percent proportion.
  • Calculate discount, mark-up, sales tax, and tip related word problems.

I liked this product but I wouldn't necessarily use it for grade 6s; maybe ones that want a challenge as some of the questions are a bit difficult. I had to pick and choose which ones I wanted my students to use. Perhaps better suited for grade 7s
