Tired of hearing “when are we going to use this in the real world?”
With this resource, students get to go on a “shopping spree”! They are challenged with using coupons and discounts to find the best deals. They will calculate discounted amounts, discounted prices, sales tax, tips, etc!
Start off this project by reviewing the learning target and success criteria (included).
I projected this project on my smart board and went through each slide while students worked with partners to complete each page (slide). This would also be a great activity to use in a small group for remediation! Use this as an end of year activity to keep students busy and productive or use it as a test review!
Once purchased, you will have access to the google slides. You are more than welcome to edit each slide.
