Description

This percents task is perfect for 7th grade!

"You and a friend are going to take on the “iPhone Blow-Out” sale by storm!  Each of you have one favorite item that you must purchase during the sale.  Doors for stores A and B open at midnight. Store C will open their doors early to accommodate the midnight buster sale. Each of you must make a major decision. The items that you want to purchase are on sale for different discounts at different stores."

This task is is separated into 4 parts on Google Slides:

Part 1: Students will find the discounts at 3 different stores

Part 2: Students will find the tax on their total price that they are paying for their phone

Part 3: Students will find the commission that is made on the phone purchased

Part 4: Students will "write a review" on the item they purchased explaining their mathematical reasoning

The students can type directly onto the Google Slides Provided.

An Answer Key is included as a separate purchase.
