Description
In this set of 25 task cards, each card has a perimeter problem for the students to solve with a variety of shapes (not circles). As the students go through the problems, they will increase in difficulty. The last several cards have the students finding the missing side by using the information given in the shape and the perimeter. Different units are also used throughout the cards. The students can write their answers on a separate piece of paper if you would like or you can laminate the cards and have the students write directly on the task cards using dry erase markers. You can print the cards out in whatever size you want (1 card to a page, 2 cards to a page, or 4 cards to a page). You can also post this file to Google Classroom and have the students write down their answers in their notebook for later or the cards could be posted around the physical classroom and the students have to move to each problem. It's a great activity for independent work, centers, small groups, and bell ringers!
