Description
This is my test/quiz over Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood. These are NOT simple, low-level "plot" questions. Questions are analytical and directly tied to AP and IB analysis strategies. There are 40 multiple-choice questions based off common AP Literature and ACT question stems. It covers the entire book (including the introduction). Questions address literary devices (mood, tone, juxtaposition, symbolism, motif, repetition, theme, conflict, simile, metaphor, etc.), artistic choices, author purpose, cultural/contextual analysis, and more. Most questions are passage/text-based with passages and graphics that students must analyze through a critical lens. I use this with high school juniors preparing to take AP Literature next year, but it can certainly be used with any level!
Answer key is included. This resource is editable.
