Personal Narrative Writing Logs Worksheets are intended for students to brainstorm ideas while planning for focused essay about themselves. This set of worksheets are intended to be printed as there is plenty of room for students to fill in their responses. There is digital (or LMS) version available.
I have used these writing logs for juniors and seniors as they plan for scholarship or college applications. For them, I have them write a one page essay. For freshmen and sophomores, I have had them use these same writing logs to create 3+ page narratives. It could be used for other grades as well.
These worksheets go alongside the directions/examples sheet, but could be used on their own since they have instructions included. Rubrics available as well.
All of this is editable so that you can make it fit your classroom. I have personally used it for students in grades 9-12. I have used it both in the general classroom setting and a dual (college) enrollment classroom.
