This is a 16 page project for math enrichment. Students are asked to start up their own dog or cat pet rescue. They will need to know area and perimeter to design their rescue. They will need to research costs of several items and then add and multiply to find a budget. Students will also need to research fundraising ideas and fit the fundraising into their monthly budget in order to run the rescue for one full year. Students will also be asked their input on who and how they will run the day to say needs of the rescue, as well as, how they will decide to adopt pets out to their community.
