This resource is Phonics Blends and Digraphs Practice with decoding and encoding. Students will look at each picture and then map the sounds using sound boxes. Mapping helps students connect the sounds to the letters (or letter combinations) that spell them. This helps students understand how spoken language connects to written words.

Next, students will write the entire word on the line (encoding).

Last, students will read the list of words.
