1. Introduce R-Controlled vowel sounds

2. Practice decoding daily as a class

3. Review throughout the year to strengthen phonological awareness skills

4. Tap along during one-on-one intervention sessions

Each slide features simple visuals to tap along with such as:

  • Dots for individual letter sounds
  • Scoops for R-Controlled vowels, digraphs, and vowel teams
  • Open dots for silent "e"
  • Arrows for full word blending

Slideshow includes 15 slides for each sound: AR, ER, IR, UR, OR
