I enjoyed this. I think it has just the right amount of detail to it. It could be because I added more through talking that it took a little over a full period to do. We were able to finish the last section the next day quickly. I think that my kids though it was a little kitschy, but I liked it. One of my students said it is the best she has ever understood photosynthesis. The animations are great and are straight forward, which is nice.
A very engaging and informative resource which presents each concept with clarity and coherence to help students to navigate through the complexities of the topic.
Great Resource!
Students were engaged in the power point. The music was a little kidish, but they did follow along and did well. Students liked the quizzes sprinkled in the power point.
This is hands-down my favorite resource for teaching photosynthesis. The power point is so interactive and fun, and shows complex systems in a very simple and engaging way! I would love to see this type of resource in other biological areas!
