In this student-led project, you will learn about physical exercise and movement. You will discover how exercise helps our bodies, minds, and communities. You will also explore the important role that women and people of color have had in sports, and how they have broken barriers and made history. You’ll learn about how exercise connects to mental health, showing how moving your body can help you feel better, manage stress, and be healthier overall. Through activities, research, and creative projects, you will see how exercise affects your own life and the world around you. By the end of the project, you will have a better understanding of fitness, diversity in sports, and how physical activity helps both your body and mind.
