This unit is designed to help students think and solve problems while working in and with the physical world. This unit builds upon Newton's love for science, math, and experimenting. It includes activities in science math, language, and social studies. It also encompasses the engineering design process. The activities in this unit focus around a variety of scientific principles. After students finish this unit, they will be observing more carefully, questioning more deeply, and continuing to experiment with the world around them.
