Description
This Physics Curriculum for ELECTRICITY, CIRCUITS, AND MAGNETISM will assist teachers in successful implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). I have included a PDF format and a Word doc.
Included in the curriculum are the following:
1.) Essential Questions – intended for the students to make predictions or answer questions
2.) Disciplinary Core Ideas – the core knowledge students will learn
3.) Learning Targets – include the most central and “essential” to what you want the students to learn
4.) Performance Expectations – focus on what the students will be able to do
5.) Essential Vocabulary – associated with learning the definitions of concepts
6.) Suggested Labs – intended to demonstrate the understanding of the core ideas
