Description

These Physics science doodle notes help middle school and high school students visualize and master foundational physics concepts like Newton's Laws, and electricity & magnetism through engaging visuals, structured diagrams, and thoughtful graphic organizers. Students actively process key physics ideas using visual note-taking, labeling, and critical thinking prompts, making these abstract topics easier to understand and remember. This resource works especially well as science centers activities, sub plans, early finisher work, review practice, and interactive notebook pages.

Doodle notes are a visual note-taking strategy that will increase student engagement, focus, creativity and concept retention. Recent studies have found that doodling or taking visual notes while studying science material can help enhance learning, engagement, and reasoning. Teaching students to use doodling in class will help them remember more, focus on the topics at hand and generally enjoy the lessons more.

Lead your class through the worksheet with the included reading and powerpoint, or assign independently and review when they are finished. This assignment would also make great sub plans!

Your students will be completely engaged with this doodling activity!

I like the doodle notes aspects of this resource. However, I found errors in the PowerPoints with math calculations and fill in the blank spots in the motion, speed, and acceleration presentation. Also, with some Power Points the words did not fit in the fill in the blank portion and it made it bit confusing for the kids to copy down their notes. There are also a section missing in the magnetism PowerPoint that is on the notes and I had to just pull up the answer key for the kids to just copy down the notes. A visual about magnets repelling each other is wrong on the PowerPoint, but right on the notes which also confused the kids. I really do think it could be a great resource but it just need to be cleaned up a bit.

Thank you for your feedback and bringing those mistakes to my attention. They have been fixed. As for the PowerPoint, I’m am realizing that the font I used may not be compatible other computers which is why it does not fit in the boxes. If you change, or resize the font that should help. I am in the process of fixing this on all of my Doodle products. Thank you again for your purchase and I am sorry for any inconvenience those mistakes may have caused.
