Description
The intent of this one-of-a-kind Piano Class Songbook is primarily for teaching piano to students at varying ability levels. Multiple arrangements of a song allow for each student to play at his/her ability level but also as an ensemble by using multiple pitched parts. Suggested hand positions and finger numbers are listed in the top left corner of each lead sheet. Most of the songs’ keys are listed below the title. The price has been reduced. Please respect the one copy per purchase. I am open to a low, less than $100, one-time digital purchase for each student you will ever have at the school where you teach. If interested in this, please email me at jcmusicresources@gmail.com
The table of contents lists each song in sequential learning order based on its difficulty. Each lead sheet has the lyrics to the song. Some lead sheets and/or other pieces might include one or more of the following examples of information: music note/terminology, fingering note, foreign language explanation, history, composers, performers, sources, and/or online resources. This 223-page book can also be used with instrumental ensembles. If using this book with an ensemble, then one group plays the melody, another group plays a bass line or bass lines, and other people play ostinato rhythms.
