Each pictograph worksheet has 3 categories and includes 4 questions about the total number of data points, how many are in each category, and how many more or less are in one category than in another.

There is also a "challenge question" on each worksheet. These questions will stretch your students' problem solving skills and are great for discussion during guided math or with a partner.

Data Collection Worksheets

The collecting data worksheets let students collect their own data and use it to make a pictograph. They are provided with a question to ask classmates and space to record their answers. They add smiley faces to a graph to show how many classmates chose each answer.
