Description

Give your learners practice using information on pictographs to solve problems with this favorite baking themed activity! The no-prep digital resource can be used in Google Slides or Seesaw or in a quiz format in Google Forms. You may also print the task cards and recording sheets. They’re great for individual use and math centers!

How to use the activity in Google Slides or Seesaw:

  • Students will read the question on each slide.
  • They will use the graph to determine the answer and move the letter of their answer to the top right of the slide.
  • If correct, they’ll see a happy face!


How to use the Google Forms activity:

  • Send the Google Form to your students.
  • Students will read the question and determine the answer for each problem.
  • They will click the circle next to the answer.
  • When they finish answering all 20 questions, they will click “submit” and may see which answers were correct and which were incorrect.
  • You can easily assign the activity if you use Google Classroom (instructions for this are included in the pdf).


How to use the printable task cards:

  • Print the cards in color or black and white. Laminate them, if desired, and cut them apart. Print a graph page and recording sheets.
  • Place the graph page and cards in a math center with the recording sheets.
  • Learners read each card and use the graph page to find the answer. They write their answers on the recording sheet.
  • An answer key is included for quick checking.
