Description

Piecewise Functions (Linear Functions Only) | Math Lib Activity

Students will practice evaluating piecewise functions, graphing piecewise function, writing a piecewise function given a graph, and identifying the domain and range of a piecewise function. This activity includes linear functions only.

The answer at each station will give them a piece to a story (who, doing what, with who, where, when, etc.) This is a much more fun approach to multiple choice, and the students adore reading the story to the class. They get very excited to see which of their teachers is the "star" of the story. There are 10 stations included in this activity

EDIT ALL STORY ELEMENTS! All slides are given in an editable format so you are free to personalize the story for your students. PowerPoint is required to edit. Only story elements can be changed, not the actual problems.

GOOGLE FORM OPTION: This activity includes a link to a Google Forms version of the activity. If you have already purchased this resource, please redownload for the update.

This activity works very well in conjunction with my Algebra 1 Linear, Quadratic, and Exponential Functions Unit.
