There is an error in the mini-lessons portion, so I had to recreate. My fault for not reading the entire activity before teaching in front of the class. I do like the writing graphic organizer and it helped my students to clearly see the step by step of writing a narrative.

Teacher turned home-school mama here! This was the perfect resource for reviewing/teaching literary elements with my son. I loved that it was straightforward and easy to follow, being that I am a teacher of the lower elementary grades and a little rusty on middle school standards. The subject material (video games) was one that most moms and kids can identify with, which made it super engaging for the both of us. We got a lot of laughs from the Glued video, because we have had the same struggles in our own home, but it also opened the door for deeper discussion without being in the heat of the moment...where I'm trying to get him off of a game, but he is resisting! Being able to type on the Google slides was also enjoyable for my son and sped up the whole process. I am now eager to use some of the seasonal offerings from DiGiGoods, during the upcoming holidays to make his schoolwork more fun and festive during that time! Great product!!!
