Place value game / place value bingo/spring bingo

This worksheet is designed for teaching Place Value in mathematics through a fun bingo game. The file includes:

  1. 30 full-size bingo cards
  2. 15 half-size bingo cards
  3. Calling cards in 2 formats for announcing numbers.

How to Extract the Files:

  1. Download the ZIP file to your device.
  2. Right-click the ZIP file and select "Extract Here" or "Unzip".
  3. Once extracted, you will find PDF files and all necessary materials ready for printing.

How to Play the Place Value Bingo Game

  1. Preparation:
  • Print the bingo cards as needed (full-size or half-size) and the calling cards.
  • Distribute one bingo card to each player (or more, depending on the rules).
  • Provide markers such as chips, coins, or markers for players to mark their cards.

  1. Starting the Game:
  • The host randomly picks a calling card and announces the number or clue, e.g., "1,000 in the thousands place."
  • Players search for the corresponding answer on their bingo cards and mark it.

  1. Winning the Game:
  • A player wins by completing the required pattern on their bingo card, such as one row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) or the entire card.
  • The host should verify the winning card before declaring the winner.

Note: The rules can be adjusted to fit the class needs, such as increasing the difficulty level or changing the bingo pattern for a more challenging game.
