  • Describing mathematical relationships in base-10: This unit comes with a visual guide for understanding the base-10 place value system and sentence stems for precise mathematical language. The student activities include describing mathematical relationships with immediate feedback and a 5 question quick check and answer key.
  • Representing numbers on a number line: This unit comes with a visual guide for understanding a number line and a focus on precise mathematical language when describing values of a point on a number line. Student activities include dragging and dropping to identify points, fill-in-the-blanks, and a sort and match table to describe number line relative values. There is a 5 question quick check and answer key.
  • Comparing and ordering whole numbers: This unit comes with a visual guide for understanding comparing and ordering numbers. Student activities include dragging and dropping, sorting and ordering, fill-in-the-blanks, and open-ended questions. There is a 5 question quick check and answer key.

This bundled unit is recommended for third grade, but can be used to introduce concepts to students younger or older, and can also be used as a refresher or for building background to scaffold harder concepts.

It is a great resource. Very well done. I think it is a little advanced for beginning of Grade 3 but a valuable resource.
