Description
This activity supports COMMON CORE 4th grade math standard: Generalize place value understanding for multi-digit whole numbers.
Included in this activity are 2 leveled sets of conversion squares, and a basic matching card set for beginners. (Example of the first conversion square: 74 tens = 740; Example of the 2nd conversion square: 2 millions = 20,000 hundreds) The basic matching cards do not have answers pre-alligned, therefore this is student-ready for cutting and matching.
Just print, laminate, and cut out for stations or small group activities. These are great as assessment tools as well!
