This math packet contains 36 pages of place value activities to reinforce the Common Core place value concepts. Each page can be used intact, or is designed to be easily cut apart into journal activities. The pages provide excellent ongoing formative assessment of the crucial place value concepts. The packet includes:

Pages 2 - 14 Identifying the number of tens and ones in a number and writing the number in expanded form (4 per page) and using "today's number" to add one/add ten; subtract one/subtract ten (2 per page)

Pages 15 - 18 Given the number of tens and ones, write the number in standard form and expanded form (2 per page) and given a picture of ten rods and ones units, write the number in standard form and expanded form (2 per page) and write the value of the underlined number (18 number per page)

Pages 19 - 24 Given a picture of ten rods and one units, write the number in standard form and expanded form (4 per page)

Pages 25 - 27 These pages include a 120 chart and 6 word problems for students to solve using the 120 chart

Pages 28 - 37 These pages include a 120 chart and 8 2 digit addition problems or 8 2 digit subtraction problems on each page for students to solve using the 120 chart.
