This pack is everything you need! At first glance, you may think these are just task cards, but there are actually THREE sets of DIFFERENTIATED task cards that can be used in TWO ways! (Answer keys included!) Same with the other activity included! It's completely differentiated on FOUR levels and you can use it in more than one way! Place Value can be a tough thing to teach! Especially when you get into the much larger place values! I was struggling to find a place value "guide" that visually represented everything I wanted. So, I began by creating a color-coded, easy-to-read guide that includes the steps to finding a digit's place value!

-THREE sets of differentiated Place Value Task Cards (These can be used in TWO ways! Students can either use these to name the place value of the digit OR the digit's worth..or both! (Task Cards are coded by color/shape so you can easily keep them organized.)

-FOUR sets of DIFFERENTIATED place value cards to be used for the game-"Name That Place Value" (Instructions included)

-FOUR sets of MULTI-PURPOSE number cards (To be used with the game AND/OR to work on using place value to ORDER numbers!)

-Ordering Numbers recording sheet

-Two Place W.S.'s where students can try filling the place value chart in themselves as well as fill in the blanks with digits. In partners, students can practice VERBALLY READING the NUMBERS they correctly. It's, of course, really important to be able to verbalize large numbers, too!
