This project is great for finishing up a unit on place value. It has students create a Math Monster out of hundreds blocks then describe it using practiced math terms. Students will practice using hundreds blocks, numerals, expanded form, & word form to describe their Math Monster. This packet includes Math Monster blocks for students to cut out & create a Math Monster, a page to record information about their Math Monster, a grading rubric, instructions, & a picture of a finished project.
