Description

Are you looking for a fun way to prepare your fourth graders for the math state test or unit test?! This game reviews place value, reading & writing numbers, rounding numbers, comparing numbers & place value reasoning! It's the perfect way for students to practice their skills while having a great time with the whole class!

Your students will love working with their team to answer questions and earn points …and maybe even earn some extra points with fun & exciting bonus activities!


◾️ QUICK OVERVIEW OF HOW TO PLAY ◾️
1 - Put your students in groups of 3-4
2 - Randomly choose a group to pick the first topic & point value
3 - All groups answer the question
4 - The group that started answers the question
5 - Correct answer —> they get the points
Incorrect answer —> another team can answer correctly and steal the points
6 - (optional) Go to Bonus Slide for any correct answers for a fun additonal way to earn points!
7 - Repeat until all 25 questions are answered
8 - (optional) Final Question - teams wager their points for a final battle to win the game!


❗️ EAST SET-UP ❗️
Teacher Materials:
• Slideshow Presented
• Printed copy of the Game Board (slide 3)
• A place to keep score

Student Materials:
• Pencil & Paper or Whiteboard & Dry Erase Marker

Optional Materials for Bonus Activities:
• 2 paper airplanes
• coin
• toy basketball & hoop
