Place Value Task Cards. 24 place value task cards through 999,999,999. These place value task cards are great as a supplement to place value instruction or test prep and require higher order thinking skill to solve!
This activity is great for advanced 3rd – 5th grade students and can be used in many ways:
° Small groups
° Centers
° Extended Activity
° Enrichment
° Intervention
The following topics are addressed:
° Standard Form ° Expanded Form ° Written Form
° Place Value ° Value
** The cards come in COLOR and INK-SAVER!
To use, just print (preferably in color and on cardstock paper) and cut them out. Laminating them will allow you to use them over and over!
Prerequisite Skills:
Students must have an in depth understanding of place value and value of whole numbers.
Students must understand how to write numbers in standard, written, and expanded form through hundred millions place.
