Description
This activity introduces students to the expanded form of place value (using expanded form to find values) by using the upside down pyramid format and base ten pieces. Students are both unpacking standard form and using expanded form to find standard form. There are typing slides as well as drag and drop slides to keep students engaged. There are 18 slides total : 2 teaching slides, 3 guided practice slides, 13 student work slides.
