Description

Place Value Practice: Students can solve math word problems using these place value tasks cards that focus on using the clues to figure out the 3-digit number. The task cards increase in difficulty. I have also included a set of number cards and a solution mat that will help your students solve the problems.

These place value task cards can be used as a whole group lesson or prepared to use as a center activity. The task cards are in color but can be printed in grayscale as well. I have included a recording sheet and an answer key. I have also included a printable that can be used for the students to create their own problems.

This is geared towards 2nd grade but can be used to differentiate instruction either in 1st grade or 3rd grade depending on the needs of your students.

Please check out another set of my task cards. Just click on the link below.

These cards help us work on place values and reading math problems. The mat allows students to work out the problems and see the numbers. Thanks
