Description
Do you need any easy way to assess how your students are doing on place value? This place value assessment measures how students are doing on Addition, Subtraction, Rounding, and Word Problems. There are multiple parts to this assessment. A pretest, posttest, assessment (uncategorized), and answer key are included.
This assessment focuses on Common Core Standards: 3NBT.1, 3.NBT.2, 3.OA.8, and 3.OA.9. This is an easy to use 1 page assessment that will provide specific information about students' strengths and weaknesses.
For example, you will have data regarding if students are struggling with rounding to the nearest 10 when the number is less than ten; when the number is more than ten, but less than 100; and when the number is more than 100, with various numbers in the ones to ensure students are actually understanding the material and not simply guessing well. Likewise, you will be able to tell if students can add three digit numbers both vertically and horizontally.
Included is a black and white version of each assessment too.
