Description

Can your students use a little mid-year review of place value, rounding, and comparing whole numbers? This engaging, differentiated coloring activity is great to use during a place value unit and in the winter months when you need to review these skills.

Students spin a 0-9 spinner to build a number and follow the directions to color their snowmen. The level of difficulty increases slightly as students move from the first activity to the third (i.e., 6-digit numbers to 9-digit numbers).

In addition to place value concepts, students will also review odd and even numbers, prime and composite numbers, and factors and multiples.

What's Included:

  • student directions
  • blank snowman coloring sheets
  • spinner template
  • directions for preparation and use

Ways to Use:

  • centers
  • math workshop rotations
  • early finishers
  • morning work
  • bulletin board

This pairs nicely with my winter math review packets!

Thanks for visiting my store!
