Description
50% off for a short time!
I created this as a fun fall project-based math enrichment activity for my students after they learned 3 digit by 1 digit multiplication, 2 x 2 multiplication, and had just started doing long division.
The project has 5 math activities for students to complete and then early finishers have the opportunity to be creative and create an invitation for their party.
Below are the math activities included, which can be printed separately or all together as one project and all of them involve word problems and multi-step problem solving:
- Planning the food for the party (Multiplication (3 x 1 digit), Long Division (2 digits x 1 digit and 3 x 1 digit with money), Addition with regrouping)
- Planning the activities for the party (Elapsed Time, Addition, Subtraction, Division)
- Planning the location (Multiplication, Division, Addition)
- Decorations and Treat Bags (Multiplication ( 3 x 1 digit with money, 2 digit x 2 digit), Addition of Decimals/Money)
- Party Problem Solving (Multi-step problems with multiplication, addition, subtraction)
- Create Your Party Invitation (an early finisher activity that allows students to be creative)
An answer key is included as well.
Included is a pdf that includes a link to an editable Google Slides presentation of the student pages so the project can be edited to fit your needs or so that students can complete the project digitally.
Enjoy and reach out with any questions!
