This PowerPoint file includes a presentation on the basic structures of plants including a diagram for students to fill out. Also included is a printable guided notes word document that goes along with the presentation.

Topics Include:

1. Labeling and identifying the job(s) of the following structures:
Roots (taproots and fibrous roots)
Stems
Leaves

2. How do the above structures play a role in obtaining materials for photosynthesis

3. Characteristics of all plants

4. Transpiration and preventing water loss

Note: Guided Notes are located on an attached word document on the last slide of the presentation
