Description

Do your budding botanists need to know about the reproductive structures of a flower? If so, look no further. After this fun, effective, and EASY lab, students will be able to point out those pistils and spot those stamens in virtually any flower.

And more importantly, students will have a better understanding of HOW flowers reproduce after dissecting the parts.

The lab is designed so that students refer to their "essential information" and answer questions as they move through the procedure. There is an editable version available, as well as a teacher guide/key.

First page: diagram with word bank; essential information; materials list

Second page: procedure

Third page: chart/table and extension questions

This lab is easy to follow and asks deeper level questions without making the analysis too complicated. This is my favorite flower dissection lab that I have found.
