Description

This is one of my favorite lessons to teach! My kids LOVED it and I know yours will too, but of all THEY NOW UNDERSTAND PLOT, which has helped not only reading comprehension, but their writing as well! Engage students using a kinesthetic simulation activity to learn the different elements of plot! This activity has a storyline designed to bring students on a journey up Plot Pyramid to locate the answer (resolution) to a question that has sparked debate for years! Of course there will be plenty of obstacles they face on their journey (the obstacles are paired with a kinesthetic challenge!)

Please note: This lesson can be taught in a classroom, however, a larger space is ideal (gym, field, blacktop, empty classroom).

If you and your students enjoyed this activity, don't forget to check out my other kinesthetic learning products!
