Description

Practice working with rational numbers on number lines and the coordinate plane with this math scavenger hunt. This self-checking scavenger hunt is a math loop where students identify where points are on a number line and ordered pairs on a coordinate plane. Both the print and digital resource versions are included. These are great for Fun Friday, math review, or math centers!

Plot Rational Numbers Scavenger Hunt Includes:

Print Version: 15 Task Cards (problems include points on a number line and the coordinate plane), Recording Sheet, Answer Key

Digital Version: A Google Slides™ presentation with 15 problem cards (same as print) in the math loop, Google Form™ to submit answers

Teacher Directions

not editable

Students will need internet to view the presentation and a Google™ Account to submit the form.

✎ In the print version, hang up the sheets around the room. Students will pick one to start with, solve, and look around for the card that has the answer for their next problem. They can record their answers on the recording sheet.

✎ On the digital version, they go back and forth between a home slide and the card slides answering questions until they reach the end. Students will need internet to view the presentation and a Google™ Account to submit the form.
