Note: Each element of plot structure has 4 text examples. (Exposition has 4 answers, Rising Action has 4 answers, etc...) Students DO NOT need to have read or have background knowledge of the text examples. Students should use context clues to play this game.
Examples:
- "In Fahrenheit 451, we meet Montag, a fireman in a dystopian future where books are banned" would match with Exposition.
- "In The Great Gatsby, Gatsby's extravagant parties reveal his longing for Daisy and lead to a tumultuous turn of events" would match with Rising Action.
