Structure For Use - Choose the Duration and Speed That Works Best for YOU:

• Teach one poet and poem each month of the year.
• Read the poem and focus on one poetry analysis question a day
• Set up a center or rotation with 3-4 tables with a task card on each table. Have students rotate to tables and discuss the question.
• Teach a 1-2 week intensive unit surrounding the poet and poem. Use the poem each day for 12 days.
• Teach the poet and poem in a week
