Even students who dislike poetry will enjoy this practice. Students work together to create an original poem using a set of random words. Students use a mix of nouns, adjectives, and verbs that help create a meaningful and imaginative piece of writing.

It is ideal for a quick activity in your poetry unit, or serves as a fun filler on those days where you want to implement some collaboration.
