This Poetry Writing Unit will help you teach kids to write poetry! It includes many poetry writing activities to teach how to write 13 different types of poems. There are poetry anchor chart posters for each type of poetry (acrostic poem template, alphabet poem, shape poem, color poems, and more), planning sheets, poem templates, and writing paper for each poem. Perfect for Poetry Month in April or any time of year!

  2. 5 Senses poetry
  3. Acrostic poem

  5. Alphabet poems
  6. Cinquain poetry
