Description
This activity provides teachers with 6 stations and 22 questions regarding Point-Slope Form. Stations will need to be printed and placed around the classroom for students to solve. There are problems where you have to identify the slope and the point when given an equation, problems where you build the equation when given a slope or a point, and last, there are problems to rearrange and put into Slope Intercept Form. These problems will help students later when they need to write an equation of a line that is parallel to a another line and they are only given a point and an equation.
Additional Ideas:
-Set a timer and have students move from station to station when the timer goes off.
-Print three copies of stations and scatter around the classroom for students to solve at their own pace.
-Laminate stations or place them in sheet protectors to avoid damage.

This resource was great to use in my classroom!!!!
My students used this as a whole group and independent work review. We did problems together for practice and then I assigned some of the problems as independent work to check student understanding of the concepts. Provided a good review before assigning an assessment.
Great review before the test for students to practice.
Great way to review concepts of point-slope form. The repetition of the activities helped students do better on their quizzes.
My students were incredibly engaged. Great resource!
I adapted these for distance learning and I love them! I found it hard to find point-slope problems so this is a great resource! Stations are great for learning!
Thank you for this resource. Given the pandemic we need to work smarter not harder, and this resource has allowed me to do just that. Thanks!
Was great having kids work together to gain confidence.
